Abstract

In this paper results from airborne lidar measurements are presented. A new diode-pumped Nd:YAG laser with a high repetition rate for application in small-size lidar has been developed. Together with a sophisticated receiver setup for detection of multiple scattering and depolarization effects, this new laser offers a unique possibility for airborne remote sensing of clouds.
