Abstract

The Deirmendjian-Chu-Hogg fog droplet size distribution function N (a) = Caα exp[-(α / γ)aγ] restricts the parameters α and γ to he positive. We outline a procedure for calculating realistic fog distributions, including appropriate normalization, and show that actual distributions are described by both positive and negative α and γ.
