Footnotes

1The reader is referred to a paper by Willis R. Gregg, Chief of United States Weather Bureau, “Accidents Caused by Adverse Weather Conditions Are Progressively Fewer,” read before the 6th Annual Greater New York Safety Conference, an extract of which was published in “U. S. Air Services” for May, 1935, after this present article was written.
