On several occasions reports have been received by Headquarters Air Weather Service of deteriorating weather conditions at an air base apparently caused by the landing of a number of jet aircraft. Such an occasion occurred at Goose Bay, Laborador in December, 1954. A detailed analysis has been made of this case and the probable cause of the phenomenon given.
