The inaccuracies inherent in single-theodolite wind-observation methods necessitate the use of double-theodolite systems to determine winds used for missile launchings. Two approaches leading to the development of double-theodolite plotting boards are presented as a solution for rapidly evaluating double-theodolite balloon-measured winds. The accuracy of wind data derived from use of the boards is compared to computed values.
