* The author has a 12-year experience in weather forecasting in Egypt. He worked for about three years as an airline meteorologist: at first, with the U. S. Air Transport Command as a civilian forecaster, then as a TWA meteorologist at Farouk Airport until May # 16, 1948. He has specialized in cloud photography since 1941 and is a favorer of single station forecasting methods.
