This is an eye-witness account of a series of six tornadoes observed in extreme northeastern Colorado and western Nebraska on June 7, 1953. The author's illustrations, developed from his pencil sketches made while the tornadoes were being observed, show details of their appearance. Of special interest to meteorologists may be the remarks and illustrations pertaining to the formation and dissipation of the tornadoes. Another section of the paper gives a description of the synoptic features associated with the tornadoes.
