A study of junior high school science texts shows that meteorology-climatology has a significant place. Unfortunately, the order of treatment often tends to start the study with the more difficult topics. Also, the texts are full of errors of fact and interpretation. It is recommended that publishers engage meteorologists to write the. sections on meteorology in consultation with junior high school teachers of science.
